How hora is calculated

Day length (sunrise to sunset) is divided by 12 to get the length of each day hora, and night length (sunset to next sunrise) by 12 for night horas. The first hora after sunrise belongs to the weekday's planet: Sun on Sunday, Moon on Monday and so on. The following horas run in the Chaldean order Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars.

This is why 24 horas later, the first hora of the next day lands exactly on the next weekday's planet.
